Vocational School Project
Vocational School (2009)
In 2009, the same donor appropriated enough funds to build a vocational school. We wanted the orphans to mature into young adulthood but also have a trade or profession to sustain themselves and possibly a family. The alternative would be returning to the streets.
The school, was built on 20 acres of land purchased with a donation in 2001 from St. William Catholic Church. The school is also available for other individuals to enroll to learn a trade of their choice. Classes are presently offered in: carpentry, computer, agriculture and baking to mention a few. Products produced by the students are sold to local residents as a way to off-set some expenses.
